Dear Friends
Welcome to our 'Fantastique' new season of concerts.
Our first concert in November at Glive features French masterpieces including Berlioz Symphony Fantastique, Ravel's La Valse and Saint-Saens Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso which we are delighted will be performed by the wonderful musical prodigy Mikhail Andreev.
In January we will be returning to Holy Trinity with a Young Artist Concert which will feature five exceptional young players.
Our next concert in March is at Charterhouse and will include Beethoven's iconic masterpiece, his Eroica Symphony and Bruch's enduringly popular 1st Violin Concerto with the award winning soloist Basil Alter.
Our final concert in May at Glive is a collaboration with the Guildford Choral Society which will feature Puccini's dramatic Messa di Gloria and Dvorak's joyful 8th Symphony.
Finally, I would like to thank you all for all your wonderful support over the past season and look forward to 'seeing you' in the coming year.
